Hi Delores, I am aware of the William Van Horn that married Sarah Hess, but
have not yet been able to connect them to my family. The William Van Horn
1861-1903 [ with wife Jennie ???] that is buried outside Hoagland was one
of the many children of William Van Horn [Sr.] and Mary Golden who were
married on April 17, 1851. I have no idea yet where they are buried. I know
they had farms Southwest of Hoagland near Middletown in about 1900. William
and Mary's children were, John b1852 m Anna Swinehart[my ggparents], Silas
???, Susan b abt.1859, Eliza b abt. 1859???, Catharine b abt. 1860, William
b 1861 m Jennie ???, they had 7 children, one named Jacob,[William commited
suicide on 12-4-1903], George b abt. 1863, Isaac b abt. 1864, Harriet b
4-4-1865 m John Osterman 8-21-1883, Albert b abt.1867, and James b
abt.1869. Delores, I do believe these two families must be connected
somehow. For them all to live so close together and not be related
would,[allthough possible] be just to weird. I would like to find where
William and Mary [Golden] Van Horn are buried. I know there is supposed to
be a Mary Van Horn buried in Marquardt Lutheran Cemetery. Could somebody
tell me where that is? I know its somewhere in Madison Tws. Rick
