Pat,
Thanks for your kind offer. Will get the info for you. In the meantime,
could you tell me where the Catholic Cemetery is located and its name?
Thanks, again.
Lucy

Lucy,
I am a volunteer lookup person, listed on our Allen County, IN GenWeb home
page. I do the lookups for the Catholic Cemetery, among others; also some
of our older funeral home listings.
We have a list of Allen County Cemeteries posted on our home page. You
can
find us at:
www.rootsweb.com/~inallen/
There is no longer a cemetery at the Cathedral in Fort Wayne. That
existed
in the 1840's & 1850's. Most of the people who were
buried there, were
eventually moved to our current Catholic Cemetery in Fort Wayne, IN.
If you would like to have me look into the burial place of your ancestor,
I
will be glad to do that. Please contact me at par4898(a)skyenet.net
with
any details you think would be helpful, such as possible time of
birth or
death or spouses name, etc.
I will try to do your lookup as soon as possible due to the fact that our
library will be closing as of Dec. 14, 2002 until the end of Jan. 2003.
This temporary closing is due to moving to a new location during a major
renovation of the old building.
Please contact me,
Pat
