Barbara,
Vigo County Public Library has on their web site
http://vax1.vigo.lib.in.us/
an obituary index of the paper here from 1903 - 1966. I went ahead and did a
search for her and didn't find anything. I go by the library every day on
the way home from work. I'll try to stop by there this week and see what I
can find. If Mary Margaret died here, she's probably buried here somewhere.
I'll check the cemetery books for that.

Thank you Brian ,
for the site of soldiers in S-A War.I shall use it.
I was also interested in your location of Terre Haute , In. Is there
any information about my grandmother Mary Margaret" Smith" Doud that was
supposed to have died in Terra Haute. The date was 1931, maybe Oct 6. She
was born 1850 in Oh.
I have sent the 4th query to Vital statistics on Wed.Is there some one
that does lookups for out of towners?
