There are microfilms at the Indiana State Archives: Indiana World War I
Service Records.
These are films of individual cards that vary a bit in their content but the
copies I made contain Name, Serial #, Race, Residence, Where Enlisted, Place
of Birth, Organizations served in, Ranks held, Engagements (battles? - my
own interpretation), Wounds or injuries received, Served Overseas, Hon
Discharge, Remarks.

On the copy of the records I made at the archives, I wrote down GSU #
1675376.
I don't knw if that is reference to a particular film roll or what.

Subject: [INALLEN-L] WWI records for Indiana
Is there a source (including Allen Cnty library) that would give
information
on one who served in WWI from Allen County, IN. I have checked the
draft
registration in GA with no luck
Thanks
