If she died in 1920 I would write to the Indiana State Dept of Health for
that death certificate. My experience is that they give more information
than the County does and they are efficient. AND it is only $4.00.

Fort Wayne, Allen county, IN, in 1920. Have the obit indicating that
she
died
at her son's home in Fort Wayne.
I was in Fort Wayne so dropped by and completed the request and gave them
the
cash. Was told it would take 2 to 3 months. After a longer time than
even
that
I received a note saying they could find no such listing.
The staff in the office gave the outward appearances of being petty
bureaucrats
- unhelpful, uninspired, unmotivated, rude.
I don't care to deal with that office again.
