IF you are search for ancestors who are local to the Fort Wayne area...(and surrounding
counties)...One more thing....I have been to the Wells County Library too (in Bluffton)
and it is small but was very helpful for me and easier to find my way around because I am
searching locally. People are very helpful in all the Libraries in the area but Wells and
Huntington Libraries are smaller..Allen County will have all the Local infor that Wells or
Hunting County Library has but...it may be easier to find in the smaller Library.(and not
so many people conpeting for it.... I have not been to the Huntington Library but I have
written them letters and they have provided me with copies through the mail for many
things...They are very helpful and Wells County has done the same l...So don't
discount the smaller Libraries...especially if you find Allen County overwhelming!

You definitely need to know what you want to look for. Plan ahead who
you
are looking up and what information you want to find. YOu can go online
and
look up book numbers that you are interested in seeing and when you
get to
the library that will save you time. I was there for 6 hours last time and
it was overwhelming! good luck
