Hi all
Several years ago I had posted for any information and/or pictures of a Phobe Taylor and
Lyman M Peck.
Lyman had moved with his parents from Trumbal County Ohio between the 1850 census and
1854. Both of his parents are buried in Old Uniontown Cemetary in Wells County.
Marriage records show Lyman marrying Phobe Taylor 19 Nov 1863 this is from Allen County
Indiana Index to Marriage Reco W. P. A. Original Record Located: County Clerk's Office
Fort Wayne Compiled by Indiana Works Progress Administration 1938 Book: 5 Original
Source Page: 362. Lyman joined the the 101st IN Infantry, In 1865 there was a
daughter.
At that point someone answered and said to get ahold of them as they most likely had info
on Phobe. My computer went down right after that and for the next year, even with a new
one I was plaqued with computer problems. Now everything seems to be working and all kinks
and electrical problems seem to have settled down. I am back to searching and hope that
same person may still be a member.
Phebe and Lyman moived to Sunfield twp Eaton County MI where they had 4 more children. I
have most MI information but the short time in IN is something else.
Thank you for any help you may be able to give
Linda

Thanks Zola. I found his web site and that is what it gave as well. I sent him a note, but
haven't heard back from him as yet.

Then that isn't my Mary who married Fredrick Huhn. The Mary I'm looking for is in
this census:
1880 Allen Co. Ind. Fort Wayne, District # 127:
Cress, Isaac - 54 born Curhesse, laborer, both parents born Curhesse
Cress, Elizabeth - 55 born Prussia, keeping house, both parents born Prussia
Cress, Mary - 18 born Ind. both parents born Prussia
Cress, Amos - 16 born Ind. both parents born Prussia
Amos is my line and I would like to find his parents and sister. In his 1899 marriage
papers Amos spells his last name Kress and age 35 with parents Isaac Kress and Anna Hunt.
This is the only Amos Kress I find in Indiana before the 1899 date. Thank you for your
help, Donna

Hello, Does anyone have the listing of burials for St. Peter's Catholic Church in
Allen County?
If so please look-up for me Isaac Cress who died Jan. 16, 1889. Also Elizabeth Kress who
died Jan. 19, 1892. Does it list their children? Thank you, Donna
