For Tom, who is researching the Wiehe family: I have a small amount of
information on some Wiehe brothers in Fort Wayne (from a great great aunt
Goeglein who married a Wiehe descended from Ferdinand). But the brothers'
names that I have are Diederich, August & Ferdinand, from Hanover,
Westenfeld, Germany, so it's possibly a different Wiehe family. In the
information are some copies taken from the Fort Wayne Directory in the
1890's, where a Emil Wiehe is listed as 'Wiehe, Emil, clerk, res 294 E
Lewis'. I don't know if any of this is of use, but if you want to know any
more about the Wiehes I have information on, please contact me.

Subject: [INALLEN-L] Weihe Family
Hello List
My name is Tom and I have been researching the Weihe family in Columbia
City and Ft Wayne. Three of the Weihe brothers who had emigrated from
Prussia, lived in this area in the 1870's and on into the 1900's. They
were
Rudolph, Ferdinand, and Emil. I would appreciate contact with any one
else
researching this family.
Could someone do a lookup on the 1900 and 1910 census on Emil
Weihe.
He was a druggist who married Emile(?) and had at least 2 sons -
Walter
and
Otto. Thanks.
