Hi...I may have submitted this request before, but it's been a while, so
thought I would try again. I am searching for descendants of Thomas
Jefferson Wilkerson and Lydia Kelsey, who farmed in Lafayette Township
during their marriage. They had at least 5 daughters and one son (the son,
Clifton, was my great grandfather). The daughters include Izora (Zoe),
Elnora (Nora), Stella, and Linnie, all born between the 1860s and 1870s.
They all had children. Married surnames that I know of include Sheaks,
Clark, Duguid, Brown, Clark, Bottorff, Mebroon, Mosley, Burlingame, and
Johnson. I am not certain, but I believe most of these people lived in the
Fort Wayne area and/or close to Southbend (Walkerton) during the early to
mid 1900s. By now, these last names could easily be removed two or three
generations (or more) and of couse it's hard to know if any descendants
would know their family history going all the way back to the Wilkerson
name...but if anyone knows of any connections to the above names, I would
love to get in touch with these very distant cousins. Thanks!

Subject: [INALLEN-L] ACPL help
I wonder if there is anyone going to the ACPL who would do a lookup for me
I need someone to look at the Elzey Funeral Home records...
Look for the surname WOODS and see if they recorded deaths for children
of
Jacob Woods and Margaret Ann Foulks....
Jacob and Margaret had 3 children that died young...... of which was
probably Margaret and she may have been about 14-16 when she died.... I do
not have
the names of the other 2..... 1910 census states Margaret was the mother of
6
children and only 3 of them were living.... the 1900 census states that
Margaret was the mother of 5 children and only 3 living
Thanks for any help you can give - I know this is asking for someone's time
and time is valuable.....
Thanks
