Sandra,
The surnames you mention are not familiar to me. The Schuckmans that I am
looking at were all in IN prior to 1850 and I believe earlier than that.
From what others have written to me about there have been different
"waves"
of Schuckmans, some form Russia but with German heritage. I wish
we could
get a Schuckman mail list going!

Karla,
I don't know if we could possibly connect or not. I am researching Anna
Christina Shuckmaennin (I believe the trailing of the name indicates
gender).she married Johan Valentine Voland(Foland) in Frederick co. Md.
1875. This family moved to Va. then several descendants went to Ind.
Several
in Madison ,Harrison, Wayne Counties.
Does there happen to be any Foland/Volands or Gentrys in your line also?
Sandra
