I don't know about Allen County, but my grandfather was from Germany and
lived in Terre Haute. I wrote to the Clerks of the court and they said that
all their records were sent to the Indiana Archives. Since you have the
book and the page number, you might write to them and ask. I got all of my
grandfather's information and they were very nice. You can go there or you
can write to them it is not expensive at all.

Subject: [INALLEN-L] Naturalization Records
To the List:
According to the "Application For Naturalization Records, Allen County,
Indiana, 12/16/1844 - 9/26/1906" that is in our ACPL, my ancestor, Henry
Emil Lochert, had a Declaration on 5/3/1887 in "bk 10, p. 64".
My question is: where is "bk. 10", and and what will it tell me? Can
anyone help answer this for me? Thanks.
