Hi Hope,
We've exchanged emails some time ago regarding our RICE lines. We have a
family of HARTLEYs in Roanoke, Huntington County, Indiana and some from
Whitley County, Indiana. In fact, some of my RICE lines married a Hartley.
Deloss Hartley and his brother owned a small local Chrysler dealership in
Roanoke for many years while I was growing up. If I remember correctly, his
brother was a car racer and competed in the Indianpolis 500.
Below is information on Anna Belle HARTLEY and her parents of Whitley County,
Indiana. Anna Belle HARTLEY married Fred B. RICE.
Could you refresh me on the RICE line you are researching. I believe you
mentioned they were from Starke County, Ohio. You can read more about my
RICE line at the link in my signature.
I hope some of this information helps you.
Have a great day! :-)
