Hello
I'm searching for someone who will be going to the library or has a copy of the following book.
"The Hoosier Genealogist September 2000/Vol.40/03 Edited By M. Teresa Baer Published By Indiana Historical Society Press"
I found the book on the internet and interested in the information that is in it for a Fredrick Kinstle.
Also interested in census records around 1820- 1900 for Kinstle, Kunstle
Would pay you for your time and any copies you make.
Thank You,
Leigh Ann
Pat,
I also live in WY (Worland) and have relatives names Witte. My aunt, Velma
Sorg, married Paul Witte and they had 3 children. Velma was born in 1919
and died in 1985. I don't know if this will help you or not but the latest
e-mail address I have for the son, Larry, is: lnwitte(a)kuntrynet.com.
Best of luck!
Angie

I don't know how far you have gotten in your research so please forgive
me if I am telling you things you already know.
Fred Schumaker 25 farmer married Gladys L Woods 17 on 6 Oct 1915 in
Allen Co Indiana. Fred's WWI draft registration card spells the name
"Schumacker." This is one of those last names that can be spelled
dozens of different ways! Fred's WWI draft registration card spells it
Schumacker.
Son Robert William Shoomaker was born 6 FEB 1916 in Allen Co. Second
son Donald was 6 for 18 APR 1930 census in Allen Co.
Fred's brother William lived with them in 1920 and 1930 census - he
registered for the WWI draft on 5 June 1917 in Allen Co. They were born
in Grand Rapids MI; William on 29 July 1887 and he died in Allen Co IN
Sept 1972. Census says their parents were born in Indiana.
There are two Robert Shoemaker's in Fort Wayne phone book:
(260)485-4262 and (260) 482-3623.
Good luck!
I went to the Wellcountylibrary site but did not see any instructions for
ordering copies of obituaries and did not see a form to fill out. At least not
on that page. Also is this service available to non-Indiana residents? Can
you furnish a little more information about this service? Thanks David

Wells County Library employees will do this for you for a small charge. Go to the site: http://www.wellscolibrary.org/obits/ Print off the Obit request form and follow directions...which are on the website. Send to them and they will send it back to you
Questions let me know, thanks,
Jan Smith

Are you (and anyone else who may be related) interested in the
Jackemeyer Reunion on Aug. 14? At 9:00, there will be an auction at
the original homestead of Conrad Jackemeyer and Catharina Schlemmer
near New Haven. Afterward, we are getting together for the First Ever
All Jackemeyer Reunion at Moser Park in New Haven. Relatives coming
from everywhere, including me from Kauai. Also a Hummel Family Reunion
on Aug. 15. Write me if interested. Dolly
