I have found the following on Ancestry.com and would like to know if there
are records of this school graduation. Would it have been Normal School? I
have been told each county in Indiana at that time had their own Normal
School which was a college for teachers.
My grandmother was Clara Nelson born 14 Aug 1888 daughter of Charlie and Eva
Nelson. Is this the same Clara Nelson???

Hi everyone. I have a curious question hopefully someone can help me with.
I have a picture taken around 1940-1950 I believe, of 29 men sitting
around a Banquet table. The back of the picture reads Clippinger Town House
Photography, Fort Wayne Indiana. I found a Llewellyn Clippinger in the 1930
Fort Wayne census who is listed as a photographer.
My interest, is if at all possible to try to find out where this could have
been taken, and what possbile group it was taken of.
Anyone with advice, suggestions on how to try to go about this, or even
wants to see the picture, Please let me know. Thanks a bunch

Looking for information pertaining to the family of John Simmers and Julia
Hollopeter, who md. 17 May 1909 in Allen Co., Indiana. There is a John H.
Simmers (1881-1917) buried in Stephenson/Sugar Ridge Cem. in Allen Co. who is a
possible match.
This couple had at least one daughter, Julia (Simmers) Lance (1916-1999).
I believe Julia (Hollopeter) Simmers (b. ca. 1888) is on the 1920 census for
Fort Wayne, IN, widowed by then and running a rooming house. This Julia
Simmers is enumerated with daughters Julia (b. ca. 1917) and Deloris (b. ca. 1915).
This family appears on the 1930 census in Adrian, Lenawee Co., Michigan, where
Julia Sr. was a cook in a restaurant.
I would love to hear from anyone with additional information on this family.

excuse my intrusion please, but I am wondering about the Martha Stout you
mentioned. Do you have any information on her? I am looking for data on a Martha
Stout from Morgan County, IN. She had been married to Wm.A. Riddle and had at
least one son by him. could there be a connection? I would appreciate your
response.
Thank you,
Joan
Medford, OR
Ralph James Wilcoxon and Gladys May Wilcoxon were the children of Dessa May
(Jones) wilcoxon and Joseph S. Wilcoxin. Joseph Wilcoxin was the child of
Martha (Stout) Wilcoxin and James Wilcoxin. Joseph Had a brother named
Jesse--on the 1880 census Joseph Wilcoxin wass 1 year old. I think the S. in
Joseph's name may have been for Solomon.
Let me know if you think your Jesse is related....

I recently got my g-grandma's divorce records and in it it states that her children were staying with her sister in New Haven in 1919.I do not have a name for the sister, but her parents were Lewis or Luther Jones and Amanda (Keemray) Jones. The children who were staying with this sister wer Ralph James Wilcoxon and Gladys May Wilcoxon.
I am assuming that since new haven is only abt 15 miles away from Ft. Wayne it is probably in Allen county also?
Thanks, Dawna in Oregon
