I am searching for the family of Donald Krewson, born Dec. 01, 1908 and died
Jan 1979.
Would like to know the children of this man and his wife. After his death
his wife was placed in a nursing home. Last known residence was in
Fairfield, IN
I understand that Donald had some very old family documents and would love to
obtain copies of these documents if at all possible. These documents from
what I have been able to find out were through his mother Edith.
His parents names were Elmer Krewson and Edith Martz.
Hoping to hear from someone who knows this family.

We've been working on our STEVENS line in Fort Wayne and Lafayette
(Tippecanoe county) and recently found among some old family papers a burial
receipt supposedly paid by John Kelly STEVENS of Ft Wayne for his brother
James STEVENS who died in St. Louis MO while traveling.
What I am trying to find out is just exactly where James STEVENS was
*from*--Fort Wayne, like his brother John, or Lafayette, where his dad and
step-mom had lived. His burial date was April 10, 1904, and he may have died
as early as April 5, 1904. I have no idea how long he had been away from
home. I would like to find out his place of residence so I can follow
through with sending for death cert, researching obit, looking for
references to descendants, etc.
If anyone has access to a Ft. Wayne city directory for the years from 1900
through 1903, could you check for me on whether there is any James STEVENS
listed? Also a William STEVENS, who would be brother to these two?
Thanks in advance for any help!

Hello!
I am trying to find out additional information on the family of William and
Catherine (SHOCKMAN) ADAIR who were living in Madison Twp. Allen Co., IN at
the time of the 1860 census. They may have lived longer, but I haven't yet
searched the 1870 census.
This is their family as I have constructed them:
1 William ADAIR b: Bet. 1812 - 1813 in , , Prussia d: Aft. 1860 in Living
1860 Census in Madison Township, Allen County, Indiana
.. +(Catherine SHOCKMAN) b: Bet. 1822 - 1823 in , , Prussia m: 01 August
1847 in Allen County, Indiana d: Aft. 1860 in Living 1860 Census in Madison
Township, Allen County,Indiana
... 2 Elizabeth ADAIR b: Bet. 1847 - 1848 in , , Indiana
... 2 John ADAIR b: Bet. 1849 - 1850 in , , Indiana
... 2 Jacob ADAIR b: Bet. 1850 - 1851 in , , Indiana
... 2 Son ADAIR b: 1860 in , , Indiana
... 2 Margaret ADAIR b: Bet. 1862 - 1863 in , , Indiana
... 2 Catherine ADAIR b: Bet. 1866 - 1867 in , , Indiana
I think there is a strong likelihood that this Catherine was the sister of
my g.g.grandfather, Philip Shookman. The ADAIR name also married into other
relatives of this line.
I would appreciate any help you are able to offer - and I am willing to
share/swap information I have on this family line.
