Beginning March 2nd, 2020 the Mailing Lists functionality on RootsWeb will be discontinued. Users will no longer be able to send outgoing emails or accept incoming emails. Additionally, administration tools will no longer be available to list administrators and mailing lists will be put into an archival state.
Administrators may save the emails in their list prior to March 2nd. After that, mailing list archives will remain available and searchable on RootsWeb
I live out of state and need one page copied from one book at the Allen
County Public Library. If you can help me, please contact me at

Thank you.
Sorry about not being able to access the page - Our meetings are held at
9:00AM, the speaker this month is Father Lothamer - and the topic is
research. After the speaker we usually have a business meeting - and if
we are lucky it runs about an hour. I am the editor in chief of the
Chronicles - a paper we publish 3 times a year - Hope you can attend - the
meetings are held on the last Saturday of the month - in the parish office
of St. Louis (Besancon) right on old Lincoln Highway.
I have been on vacation, just back today, so perhaps you have had other
answers to your email. Anyway, welcome! Joyce Lomont Crowl

Stephenson is in Monroe Twp Allen Co North of US30. Do not expect much from
there. I visited there last summer and could not find my Harshman or Kline.
Many of the stones are eroded and missing.Sorry but I do not seem to have
the road it is on, but it dead ends into the cemetery (no fence)

Hi all!
I was wondering if there's anyone who lives in close proximity to either the
Sugar Ridge Cemetery or the Stevenson Cemetery; I believe both are in Monroe
Twp, either Adams or Allen County, or perhaps smack-dab on the county line,
who'd be willing to do a little sleuthing for three people: Samuel
WHITRIGHT (b.1818 d. after Apr 1891), Anna Nancy (COBLE) WHITRIGHT (b.1821
d. 1888), and Elias WHITRIGHT (b.1848 d. 1877). Please, please, PLEASE
contact either me at sjwhitright(a)hotmail.com or my cousin, Elias's
ggranddaughter Jean Fazzone at JEANFAZZ(a)aol.com if you would be willing to
tackle this venture. Thanks!

her I recommended her. she isn't only your geneaoligist but becomes your friend.

Hello!!
I have created a new Website called "Genealogy Look Up Forum". It is a
website of volunteers who will do various types of look ups such as
Census, Cemetery, Marriage, and many more. I am always also looking for
new
volunteers who would like to do some look ups for people. Please check
out
the website. I am sure you will be impressed with it.

Caught your plea about the Besancon Historical Society Meeting scheduled for
March 25 with Rev. J. Lothamer, Adrian, Michigan, as the speaker on the
topic: The Unique Finds in Doing Research. This topic will also include the
result of his research of the "Westrick" family.
The meeting will be held in the St. Louis Parish Office Conference Room at
9:00 AM. This is located east of New Haven, IN on Lincoln Highway. There is
a green sign on U.S. 30 showing the turn-off to St. Louis Besancon Church.

Can anyone tell me details of a meeting of the Besancon Historical Society on
March 25th or thereabouts? Where and when? I could not reach their home
page on the web.
If I remember correctly, the library that has the wonderful genealogy
collection is on Webster St. in Ft. Wayne, IN. I think that is the
information that you want. It is downtown.
It is located within the Allen County Public Library. I believe it is on
the second floor.
Been about 7 years since I was last there, and it is definetly one of the
largest genealogical collections in the U.S.

Hi again,
Sorry, I hit send, before I finished where the library was located.
It is on Webster Street, between Wayne and Washington. There are signs all
around town, pointing the way.
It is a great Department.
Hope you have fun Hunting!
