When I was out of town and away from computer, you began listing surnames you
were researching. I am interested in the ROBERTSON line. John, Thomas, Henry,
and Joseph ROBERTSON lived in Allen County from about 1850 on. John Robertson
d in Allen County on 20AUG1886. Four of his daughters may have m in Allen
County Martha ROBERTSON to Dr. Samuel HUMPHREY; Deborah H. ROBERTSON to ?
MCMAKEN; Lydia ROBERTSON to Charles BENNETT; and Ruth A. ROBERTSON to George
CUNNISON. Another brotherJoseph ROBERTSON is thought to have m Jerusha
(Jenisha) CLARK in Allen County any help along these lines would be greatly
appreciated.

There are three things which are real:
God, human folly and laughter.
The first two are beyond our comprehension.
So we must do what we can with the third.

Does anyone have access to Catholic Cemetery records? (I seem to recall that

The proper spelling is Harlan, IN, an unincorporated community in northern
Allen County, IN. It has Harlan Elementary School there; it is a part of the
East Allen County System. The address is 12616 Spencerville Rd., Harlan, IN
46743. There had been a high school there until the great consolidation era
of the 60's. Toddie102(a)aol.com
Okay, so Maysville is now Harlen. Is there a source I can go to for
information on Maysville/Harlen? I'd be interested to know what churches
were in the area, businesses, land records, etc.
