BETTY M. DAVIDSON
Mrs. Betty M. Davidson, 55, 811 West Monroe Street, wife of Leoniel "Smoke"
Davidson, died at 3 p.m. Sunday at the Adams County Memorial Hospital, where she had been
several hours.
She and her husband operated Davidson TV there.
She also had been an employee of the Decatur General Electric Co., for seven years
following World War II. She was a member of the Women of the Moose and the Ladies of the
Elks.
She had been in failing health for the past year.
Born in Wren, Ohio on December 10, 1923, she was the daughter of John F. and Leona A.
Welker-Shook, and was married to Leoniel L. (Smoke) Davidson on March 30, 1946.
Survivors include the husband; the mother, a resident of Decatur; one daughter, Mrs.
John (Pamula) Kenney, Decatur; one brother, Bill Shook, Decatur; and one granddaughter.
One brother, Ermel, preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Zwick Funeral Home, with Rev.
Sylvester Martin officiating. Burial will be in Decatur Cemetery. Friends may call at
the funeral home after 2 p.m. today and the Women of the Moose will hold services at 7:30
p.m. tonight.
