Mrs. John Lobsiger Dies This Morning
Adams County Lady Is Taken By Death
Mrs. Minerva Elizabeth Lobsiger, 67, wife of John Lobsiger, died at 2:11 o'clock
this morning at her home three miles southwest of Monroe. Death was caused by
complication and followed an illness of six months.
She was born in French township March 7, 1875, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William
Henry Bollinger. She was a member of the Winchester U. B. church south of Monroe.
Surviving besides the husband are the following children: Mrs. Bessie Brown, Mrs. Mary
Coffee, Charles, Edward and Noble Lobsiger, all of Decatur; Mrs. Fred Beitler of Geneva,
Mrs. Esther Brokaw and Mrs. Mable Woodby, both of Flint, Mich.; William of Huntington
Park, Calif.; Harry of Seattle, Wash.; Mrs. Lucinda Teleney of Fort Wayne, John Lobsiger
of Craigville, Paul of Pleasant Mills, Mrs. Lola Strahm of Craigville and Mrs. Velma
Daniels of Pleasant Mills; one brother, Alf Bollinger of near Monroe; seven half-brothers
and half-sisters, 39 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. One son, one daughter,
five brothers and sisters preceded her in death.
Funeral arrangements have not been completed. The body will be removed from the Black
funeral home to the residence this evening.
