I don't know if we can prove this Jacob Miller to be your Jacob Miller
or not. My Jacob Miller was born in 1840 to John Miller and Mary
Armstrong. This Miller family lived near the Beaver River in North
Beaver Twp Lawrence Co Pa on a farm purchased by John Miller's father in
1801. On their father's death the farm was divided between John and
his brother Michael.
Six of Michael Miller's sons were in Adams Co Indiana in the early 1860,
and five with many of their family are buried in the Clark Chapel
Cemetery in Union Twp Adams Co Indiana. So it does not take much to
think that their cousin joined them in Indiana.
If this sounds promising, please contact me, as I have deeds, wills, and
death certificates to support this side of the Miller family.
Northwest Ordinance: "Religion, morality and knowledge, being necessary
to good government and the happiness of mankind, schools and the means
of education shall forever be encouraged" approved by US CONGRESS July
13,1787 of which 41 member helped write the Constitution which was
approved September 17, 1787 .

Jacob Miller was my GG grandfather thru his daughter Gertrude. I would love to exchange
information.
