MRS ACKER DEAD AT DENVER
Relatives here received a message late this afternoon announcing the sad news that Mrs.
Samuel Acker died early this morning at Denver, where she went several years ago in hopes
that she might recover. The funeral services will be held at Denver Saturday afternoon.
The Ackers formerly lived here and moved to Geneva some years ago. Mrs. Acker's
health failed and for several years she resided in the west. About two years ago Mr.
Acker sold his store at Geneva and since that time the family has been together in
Denver.
NOTE: Mrs. Acker's maiden name from Snow's History of Adams County, Indiana; B.F.
Bowen & Co., 1907, pages 476-477
"In May, 1895, Mr. Acker married Miss Frances W. Triplett, of Scott county, Kentucky,
and to this union have been born four children: Doris L., Sanford I., Samuel S., and
Caroline T."
