Glen R. Isch, 90, Decatur, died at home at 4:30 a.m. Wednesday.
He was born on July 16, 1917, in Adams County to Joe
R. and Minnie Aeschliman Isch.
He married Katheryn G. Burke on June 30, 1943; she survives.
He retired as a foreman at Decatur Industries after a 23-year career, was a retired
farmer, and was a member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Decatur.
Other survivors are a son, Steven Isch of Decatur; four sisters, Lucille Frauhiger, Mrs.
John (Irene) Neuenschwander, and Mrs. William (Betty) Longenberger, all of Bluffton, and
Mrs. Edward (Viola) Gerber of Fort Lauderdale, Florida; two brothers, Hubert Isch of
Bluffton and Kenneth Isch of Berne; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
A son, two brothers, and a sister are deceased.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday in Zwick and Jahn Funeral Home, with
burial in Decatur Cemetery.
Visiting hours are 1-4 and 5-8 p.m. Friday and 2-3 p.m. Saturday.
Preferred memorials are to the Cancer Angel Fund within the Adams County Community
Foundation.
