ROMAN RAUDENBUSH
Roman R. "Raudy" Raudenbush, 80, 346 N. 11th St., died Monday evening at
home.
He was born in Adams County on March 30, 1913 to Homer and Olive Tague Raudenbush and
married Dolores "Toby" Miller on March 5, 1942. She died on Aug. 19, 1983.
He retired on July 1, 1977 from American Hoist and Derrick, Fort Wayne; was a life
member of Decatur Elks Lodge 993; and served in the U.S. Army during World War II.
Surviving are two brothers, Roscoe and Robert Raudenbush, both of Decatur, and three
sisters, Mrs. Harold (Ruth) Weaver of Convoy, Ohio, Mrs. Robert (Romaine) Young, Van Wert,
Ohio and Mrs. Norman (Rowena) Phillips, Decatur. Two brothers are deceased.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in Haggard and Armes Funeral Home,
Decatur, with burial in Decatur Cemetery. Visiting hours will be from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m.
Wednesday.

Raudenbush, 80, Decatur, failed to note that he was a life member of the American Legion
Post 43 in Decatur.
