Mary E. Andrews, 84, route 4, Decatur, died at 11:20 a.m. Saturday at her home.
Mrs. Andrews, a homemaker, had been in failing health for two and one-half years.
She was born September 28, 1897, in Agra, Oklahoma, to Ferdinand and Maud
Snyder-Wiseley, and was married on April 6, 1917, to Harry C. Andrews, who passed away on
July 28, 1967.
Mrs. Andrews attended St. Marks Untied methodist Church, was a Gold Star Mother during
World War II, and was a past member of the Adams County Home Demonstration Club and its
choir.
Surviving are four sons, John Francis Andrews of Columbia City, Richard W. Andrews of
route 4, Decatur, Thomas F. Andrews of Rota, Spain, and Spenser Andrews of route 4,
Decatur; one daughter, Mrs. Ralph (Catherine) Dalton of S. Euclid, Ohio; a brother, Harry
Wiseley, Modesto, California; nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Three
brothers preceded her in death.
Funeral services were scheduled for 3 p.m. today at the Zwick, Boltz & Jahn Funeral
Home, Rev. C. Albert Nunery in charge, with burial in the Ray Cemetery.
