I began searching for my roots a few years ago and only recently have I figured out my
great grandparents but I have lost the trail on Louiza J. Davis Smith. She married Reuben
T. Smith around 1872 and he died in Grant county in 1879. She had 4 children: Mary B.,
Evaline, Benjamin Ransom, and Joseph. I cant find anything on Louiza, Mary, and Evaline. I
think that the family relocated to Adams county maybe to live with Louiza's family. I
would appreciate any assistance in finding the trail once again. I would suspect that
Louiza remarried but havent found any records indicating such.
thanks,
Brent
