Rev. Joshua Bright Is Taken By Death
The Rev. Joshua F. Bright, 73, of Leesburg route 2, and a native of Adams county, died
Friday at the Lutheran hospital in Fort Wayne, where he had been a patient since May 5.
Rev. Bright, a retired minister of the Evangelical United Brethren church, was active
in the state-wide mental health association and Kosciusko county, four-county mental
health association.
He was a former pastor at Waterloo, retiring several years ago.
Surviving his wife, Hulda; three sons, Donovan and Joshua, Jr., both of Fort Wayne, and
John of Muncie; seven daughters, Mrs. Peary (Marjorie) Nichols of Fostoria, O., Mrs.
Harold (Clover) Drage of Ossian, Mrs. A. L. (Helen) Quicksall of Cheyenne, Wyo., Mrs. Gale
(Betty) Creighton and Mrs. Charles (Mary) Huffman, both of Warsaw, Mrs. James (Barbara)
Mallinger of Nappanee, and Mrs. Devon (Nancy) Ogden of Laketon; 26 grandchildren and six
great-grandchildren.
Funeral rites will be held at 1:30 p.m. Monday at the Warsaw E. U. B. church, with
burial in Oakwood cemetery at Warsaw. Friends may call at the McHatton funeral home in
Warsaw after 7 p.m. Saturday.
