Dorothy Alice Farrar
Mrs. Dorothy Alice Farrar, 79, 220 Butcher St. Geneva, died Friday evening at 11
p.m. at her home. The body was discovered Saturday morning.
She was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Geneva, and the Mary
Martha Circle of the church.
Born on May 5, 1902, in Geneva, she was the daughter of Charles N. and Cora A.
Harper-Brown, and was married to Walter R. Farrar; he died in February of 1972.
Survivors include a son, C. Jay Houser, Portland; a stepson, Robert Charles
Farrar, Louisville, Ky.; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Services will be held Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. at the Downing Funeral Home, Geneva,
with Rev. Duane Stidham officiating. Burial will be in the Riverside Cemetery, Geneva.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today.
