MRS. DEININGER DIES SUDDENLY
Mrs Fred Deininger Dies Suddenly At Home This Morning
Mrs. --cie Deininger, 56, wife of Fred Deininger of 312 Line street, well
known and respected resident of this city, died suddenly at her home at
10:30 o'clock this morning.
Death was due to embolism. Mrs. Deininger had been ailing for about a
year and had been bedfast for the past two months. She suffered a fall
several months ago which is thought to have attributed to the seriousness of
her condition.
Mrs. Deininger was born in Bobo on October 3, 1888, a daughter of Millard
and Effie Cowan. Her marriage to Fred Deininger took place in Decatur on
October 18, 1912. Following their marriage they moved to Grand Rapids and
later to Cadillac, Michigan, returning to Decatur seven years ago to make
their home with the Glen Cowan family on Line street.
Survivors include the husband, an adopted son, Joe, and a sister, Mrs.
Florence Ward of Grand Rapids, Michigan. A brother, Glen Cowan, Adams
county auditor, preceded his sister in death a year ago last July.
She was a member of the St. Mary's Catholic church and the St. Mary's
Society.
Funeral services will be held Friday morning at 9 o'clock at the St.
Mary's Catholic church. Burial will be made in the Catholic cemetery.
