Mr. Helm had gone to Florida about a month ago to become associated in the Hardware

Mr. Helm, who graduated from the Decatur High School in 1932, was a member of the city
school board from 1951 to 1957. He was a member of the First Methodist Church and the
Masonic Lodge.
Lifelong Resident
He was born in Decatur October 18, 1913, a son of Harry N. and Daisy Burdg-Helm. His
mother now resides at New Port Richey. He was married to Miss Kathryn Archbold May 30,
1937.
Surviving in addition to his wife and mother are four daughters, Nancy Lee, Joyce Ann,
Jacqueline Kay and Kristine Sue, all at home; the brother, Robert B. Helm, and sister,
Mrs. Don (Marsha) Braley, both of New Port Richey.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Monday at the Zwick Funeral Home and at
2 p.m. at the First Methodist Church, the Rev. F. Hazen Sparks officiating. Burial will be
in the Decatur Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 10 o'clock Sunday
