Doris M. Troutner, 88, Tucson, Arizona, a former Decatur resident who moved to Arizona
in 1966; died at 1 a.m. Friday (Arizona time) in Desert Garden Nursing Home.
She was born on September 4, 1910 in Willshire, Ohio, to (can't make out the first
name of father, should be Levi or Leroy) and Eva Workinger Ray and married Wayne A.
Troutner on September 21, 1929; he died on December 5, 1968.
She was a homemaker and a former member of Union Chapel United Methodist Church, rural
Decatur.
Surviving are a son, Dale Troutner of Warsaw; a daughter, Lois Potter of Tucson; nine
grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and eight
step-greatgrandchildren.
Two sisters are deceased, Ruby Troutner and Opal Jones.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday in Zwick and Jahn Funeral Home, Decatur
with burial in Willshire Cemetery. Visiting hours are 3 to 5 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday.
Preferred memorials are to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital in Memphis,
Tennessee or the the donor's choice.
