Everett C. Lough, 78, 416 S. Fifth Street, died at 4 a.m. today at his home.
He was born on January 26, 1911 in Adams County to Frank and Cora White Lough and
married Rosie Cook on August 19, 1941; she survives.
He retired in 1977 from Stockman Elevator in Decatur and was a veteran of the US Army
in World War II, serving in the South Pacific.
Other survivors are a daughter, Mrs. Richard (Judith) Ehrsam, Ossian; a son, Thomas
Lough, Route 1, Craigville; three sisters, Mrs. Ace (Alvena) Currier and Gretchen Foreman,
both of 622 N. Seventh St., and Mrs. Russell (Idora) Andrews, 261 N. Seventh St.; four
brothers, Kenneth Lough, 333 S. Fifth St., Frederick Lough, St. Paul, Minnesota; James
Lough, 839 Parkview Dr., and Theodore Lough of Fort Wayne; five grandchildren and eight
great-grandchildren. Three brothers, Frank, Eugene and William "Bud" Lough and
three sisters, Dorothy Korontz, Ruth Debolt and Nancy Lough are deceased.
Funeral services are at 2 p.m. Saturday in Haggard & Arms Funeral Home, Rev.
Sylvester Martin officiating. Burial will be in Decatur Cemetery, with graveside rites by
American Legion Post 43. Visiting hours are 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. Friday.
Preferred memorials are to the donor's choice.
