that Chauncy Roop was fatally shot by a bar tender in that city last

Anyone have a perpetual calendar that would tell us the exact death date?
Where did you find his DOB and marriage record? If he married in 1903 (to
Olive Holmes) and died in 1907, were there any children?

What I have on Chauncy (and may have come from you)
son of John & Ellen D. (Johnson) Roop
Charles "Chancy" Roop b. 1879 d. March 1907 in Chicago, Ill
Notes:
Chancy A. Roop married Olive Homes Jan 14, 1903 in First Meth Epis Church
in Decatur, INdiana; was it him?
Notes: Chauncy A. ROop b. Aug 28 1878 either Adams or Van Wert Co birth
records; was it him>?
This roster you listed for him; was it formed in 1889 or 1898; 1889 would
have been too early for this Chauncy.
