Thanks goodness! Glad to be rid of those two troublemakers! Now maybe this list will
settle down and get back to the business of genealogy!
AND, on the subject of genealogy: Does anyone out there have any information on Michael
ROCK, born 12 Jan 1801 in Virginia, son of Boston ROCK? He lived for a time in the
northern part of Adams Co., according to census records. Died 10 Apr 1875. He is buried
in the Bethel Cemetery, south of Poe, Indiana along the Winchester Road. His daughter,
Emaline, married William Somers (Sommers/Summers). Need the name of his first wife and
mother of Emaline. He was also married to Mariah VAUGHN, and after her death he married
Polly SOMERS.

Myra Gormley, the editor of "Rootsweb Review" ia a
subscriber to this list. She must have got quite an
impression from the disruptions caused by Nola and
Scott.
Nola and Scott have been reported to Andrew
Billingworth, listmaster to the rootsweb lists and
they are no longer subscribed to this list.
To others who have given their advice and suggestions,
I thank you. As I mention on Dec 13th, the matter has
been closed. The appended abbreviation has been
changed to INADMS until further notice.
This list is for the discussion of genealogy and
history of Adams County and is not affiliated with any
group which includes INGENWEB.
As it was mentioned before by Jayne, there is a new
mailing list started by Tim Singleton for Adams
County. Good luck in your endeavor, Tim.
