Hi David: I believe our lines tie in together several times. My 2nd great
grandfather, Philip Hahn, is the son of Jacob Hahn and Barbara Swigert.
Jacob is the son of Jacob Hahn and Rachel Shoemaker. Philip (1849-1921)
married Samantha Stephenson (1849-1930) in 1869 in Jay County. They lived
in the counties of Adams, Jay, Delaware and Madison.
Esther was a Blauvelt, daughter of Jacob Blauvelt and Mary (?). She was
born in 1826 in Ohio and she and Charles were married in Adams county 21 Mar
1847. Jacob is buried in Backesto Cemetery. Mary went on to marry Jonathon
Ray. Other Blauvelt children that I know of are Lucinda and Wesley. Wesley
married Sarah Everhart.
Charles was born in France. I have not yet determined his whereabouts
before 1850. .
Charles Stephenson and Esther Blauvelt had 10 children born in Adams County:
Samantha married Philip Hahn
Emanuel married a Melean (I think it should be Matilda)
James W. - never married
Perry Dayton married Mary Patterson
Martha A. J. - ?
Mary - ?
Rosanna married Bazzle Everhart
Ellen Esther married Adam Brandyberry
Teresa - ?
Charles Elmer -?
Do you tie in with these? Have a great day!
Gloria

Gloria: I have a lot of Stephensons and Hahns, but not a Charles and Ester.
Daniel Stephenson married Maria Elzy (Elzey) in Clinton County, Ohio, in
1832. They settled in Root Township in about 1840.
So you have the parents of Ester?
