Eilene;
At this web site:
http://www.rootsweb.com/~inadams/adamscem.htm
it records this information about the Alpha cemetery:
Root Township
Sec. 23 Alpha. On southeast corner of county roads 900
North and 100 East. The cemetery was started by the Alpha
Methodist Episcopal Church, which was closed about 1915.
Hope this helps you, and good luck in your live visit search.

Subject: [INADAMS] ALPHA & OTHER CEMETERIES, ADAMS CO, IN
Hello Everyone!
Does anyone know where the Alpha Cemetery (NOT the Monmouth
cemetery--they
are different, reported to be about 3 miles apart) is located in
Adams Co?
Do any of you brilliant folks know if the Alpha Cemetery has been
recorded -
or if any of the cemeteries in Adams Co have been recorded?
For over 20 years, I have been looking for the burial place of
William
Harkless d. 1855 while living in Root Twp, Adams Co, IN with his
daughter and
son-in-law Rosanna & George Hunter. I want to go to Adams Co in
a couple of
weeks to look for gravestones & it would really be helpful if I
knew if the
cemeteries were recorded in Adams Co or not, particularly Alpha
Cemetery. Any
thoughts? Suggestions? Advice?
Thanks so much!
Eilene Harkless Moore
