It was called the Adams County (Poor) Farm, abt 6 miles n of Monroe near
where the Tile Mill crossed the RR tracks. Original wood bldg was abt a
mile north of the present bldg on 200. I think it was on the north side of
US33 just east of the Tile Mill intersection. Some one with a better memory
can correct me. I am going on what I remember being told as a kid. The
orig bldg either burnt down or a tornado???? destroyed it.
