Willard R. Maller Found Dead in Bed
Willard Ray Maller, 29, 231 North Bond street, merchant night policeman in Bluffton the
last six years, was found dead in bed by his father about 4 p.m. Sunday when the father
went into his room to call him for work. Death was attributed to a heart ailment.
Born March 24, 1919, in Adams county, the decedent was the son of John and Emma Schwartz
Maller. He had resided in Bluffton three years.
Survivors include the father with whom he made his home; two sisters, Mrs. Roger Grogg, of
Liberty Center, and Luella Joan, at home, and a brother, Glenn, at home.
The body is at the Jahn Funeral home. Services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the
funeral home and at 1:30 p.m. at the Apostolic Christian church. Burial will be in the
church cemetery.
