Neuenschwander Rites Saturday
A resident of Bluffton Route 4, Mrs. Will (Lizzie) Neuenschwander, 85, died at 7 a.m.
today at Cooper Rest Home, where she had been a patient since November 1971.
Born Jan. 24, 1887 in Adams County, she was a daughter of Daniel and Anna Aeschliman
Schwartz. Her marriage to Mr. Neuenschwander, who survives, took place Nov. 25, 1908 in
Decatur.
Mrs. Neuenschwander was a member of the Apostolic Christian Church.
Surviving, in addition to the husband, are four sons, Walter and William, Jr., both of
Bluffton Route 4, John of Bluffton Route 1 and Charles of Indianapolis and eight
daughters, Mrs. Harold (Virgie) Isch of Bluffton Route 3, Mrs. William (Betty) Frauhiger
of Bluffton Route 4, Mrs. Ervin (Ellen) Fiechter, Mrs. Earl (Ann) Frauhiger, Mrs. Luster
(Martha) Heyerly, all of Bluffton, Mrs. David (Ada) Gerber of Ossian, Mrs. Walter
(Lucille) Kaehr of Decatur Route 4 and Mrs. Howard (Joyce) Baumgartner of Fort
Lauderdale, Fla.
Other survivors include two sisters, Mrs. Charles (Sarah) Gilbert and Mrs. Lewis (Mary)
Gerber, both of Bluffton; a brother John Schwartz of Bluffton, 56 grandchildren and 47
great-grandchildren.
Friends may call after 7 p.m. Thursday at Goodwin Funeral Home and until 9:30 a.m.
Saturday, at which time the body will be taken to the Apostolic Christian Church for
services at 10:30 a.m. in charge of Rev. John Yergler. Burial will be in the church
cemetery.
