I am working on Baumgartner genealogy. Benedict was my great, great grandfather. My sister and I are trying to follow all the lines and would love to hear from other descendants to share information. Does anyone know if Benedict had siblings? I know he was born in Switzerland and I would like to know when he came to America and on what ship. avis45(a)onlyinternet.net

This brings quite a bit of closure... my grandfather, Daniel Schafer, was Grace's son, but he never spoke a word about this to anyone. Still it is quite sad.
Do we have any information on Emma Birch and/or Rev. William H. Daniel's origins and parentage? I can't seem to locate them on the 1880 census, which would have been the first after they were married.

I didn't see a link on their website, although I found three different

Alice Caroline Lhamon was born 11 June 1862 in Adams County. William Franklin Meyers was born in 1864 in Adams County. Also, I believe his surname is correctly spelled Meyers rather than Meyer. They are both buried in Backesto Cemetery in Monroe Township.
In addition to their son Floyd, they had four daughters: Iva, Lula, Frances, and Lesta.
