Obit from the Reynolds Cemetery Book by Nola Rains:

LIVED HERE LONG
Mrs. Rachel Paulison, Pioneer of Adams County, Died Las Night at Home of Her
Son at Fort Wayne - Will Be Brought Here for Burial - Lived long Here.
(handwritten date of March 9, 1910)
Thompson Niblick, who was called to Fort Wayne Wednesday evening by the serious illness of his sister, Mrs. Rachel Paulison, returned this morning,
announcing her death, which occurred there Wednesday evening at 5 o'clock, a
short time before his arrival. Mrs. Paulison was seventy-seven years of
age, and was the widow of Jacob Paulison, one of the pioneer residents of
this county and city. For some time, since the death of her husband, she
has made her home with her son, Samuel Paulison, 1109 St. Marys avenue. She
has been an invalid for a number of years, but quite recently contracted the
grip, which, with rheumatism and the infirmities of old age, caused her
death. She was born in Ohio March 15, 1832, and came to Indiana with her
parents more than seventy years ago. With her husband she spent the greater
part of her life in this city in what is now the C. J. Weaver home. Her
husband was a pioneer blacksmith of Decatur.
Surviving relatives include the son, Samuel, a well known Nickel Plate
brakeman, and six grandchildren. The husband and three children preceded
her in death. There are three brothers, Thompson Niblick, of Decatur;
Robert Niblick, who is located in the west, and John Niblick of Illinois,
and two sisters, Mrs. Israel Rempp of Willshire, and Mrs. George Prentiss of
Oklahoma City, Okla.
The body of Mrs. Paulison will be brought to this city for burial, the
cortege arriving over the G. R. & I. at 1:11 o'clock Friday afternoon. The
remains will be taken at once to the M. E. church, where the serviced will
be held at 1 o'clock. The sermon will be delivered by the Rev. Claude
Travis, pastor of the Wayne Street church of Fort Wayne.
Another one:
FUNERAL OF MRS. PAULISON
Held from Methodist Church This Afternoon - Rev. Travis.
The funeral of Mrs. Machel Paulison, whose death occurred in Fort Wayne
at the the home of her son, Samuel Paulison, was held from the Methodist
church in this city this afternoon, the sermon being delivered by the Rev.
Travis, pastor of the Wayne street Methodist church of Fort Wayne. The body
arrived this afternoon at 1:11 over the G. R. & I. railroad and was taken at
once to the church where the services were held. The funeral was largely
attended. Burial took place in the Reynolds cemetery.

Margie;
Write them as a text file (Like I am doing now) and send them to me.
Oh, BTW; the file you sent me on the Roop family was great, except it was much too big to upload to the server.

Sarah,
I recently received a copy of the obituaries of people buried in Reynolds Cemetery in Adams Co. I would be happy to transcribe them and have permission from Nola Rains to do so. How do I go about it?

Sarah,
Since I was a "complainer", I want you to know that I would be most happy to contribute, but as I mentioned previously, I barely have time to skim the various mailing lists I'm subscribed to.
I realize that sounds like a cop-out, but I opened an antique shop in January and I *truly* am unable to keep up with anything else at the moment. Just as soon as I get things caught up and running smoothly (and I am starting to fear that may be somewhere between Someday and Never) I will most certainly be glad to help out.
In the meantime, I will *try* to dig out my files that have relevance to Adams Co. and get something to you to add.

to better improve the website now back on Rootsweb, how about
volunteering some of your time in transcribing census records, county and
family histories, cemetery records, courthouse records and many more public
files too numerous to mention for the website.
With the generous help of Tim Singleton, I have been able to gather
some files that were lost in the move from Rootsweb to Bravenet. Nola
Rains has volunteered to do another cemetary. We need more volunteers.
How about stepping in and doing your fair share?
Instead of complaining, why not help to make Adams County one of the
best that Indiana has to offer on the internet.
Think about it!

Frankly, since I don't have time to work on genealogy each and every day I have been watching the list to see if an announcement would be made as to where the Adams Co. site would ultimately be. It seems rather unproductive and non-topical for anyone to take the time to continue to grouse about things, especially in other counties.
Thank you for returning the Adams Co. site to Rootsweb. :)

To All;
I am just plain tired of hearing from some on this list who puts down someone who decided to move her site and then apparently got fed up with all the complaints and moved it back. Not one word of gratitude for all the hard work she's done. It's no wonder she hasn't said anything to the list. If I were her, I wouldn't either.
My apologies to the list.

Excuse me, but isn't Sarah the coordinator for Adams County? Since when
did you become her spokesman since you run the Jay County site?
Maybe she has her reasons for not speaking up. Listowner? Is she subscribed
to the list?
FYI, Richard, if you kept care of your county as you seem to for Adams
County, maybe we could see some progress. This is an observation.and not
intended to be a flame.

Vi.
