Jacob Amsler, who was a well-known German, died at the home of his son,
Henry Amsler, in Claysburg, Sunday morning at ten o'clock of pneumonia. He
had been sick several weeks. Most of his time of late years has been spent
in Kentucky where he followed gardening and vine trimming.
The funeral takes place tomorrow afternoon a two o'clock and the interment
will be at Walnut Hill.
