Dr. Philip (consider Phillip a spelling variant) Blade leaves on Tuesday,
19th inst., for his old home at Ft. Wayne to settle some business and visit
friends. During his residence in this city Dr. Blade has built up a large
practice among the leading citizens of New Albany. He is an educated,
accomplished physician and by his skill has performed many really remarkable
cures here in diseases of the eyes, ears, catarrh and other chronic
ailments. He has made hosts of warm friends in New Albany and is held in
high esteem by all who enjoy his acquaintance. He will visit Milwaukee and
Chicago and take a brief look at the World's Fair during his absence. He
will return about October.
