The friends and relatives, some of whom were from Indianapolis and Edinburg,
gathered at the home of Mrs. Hanna Bell in Hamblen Township last Sunday, May
24, with well filled baskets, the occasiona being her 57th birth
anniversary. The table was decorated in white and rest roses.
The large cake baked by Mrs. Joe Way, a daughter, bore the inscription,
"Mother-57" in pink and white All of the cakes were beautifully decorated.
A son from Edinburg furnished the phonography music. There were over 50
persons who partook of the bountiful dinner, all enjoyed the day and wish
Mrs. Bell many more happy birthdays.
