John Landis, the boy who was shot in the hand with a toy pistol, mention of
which was made in yesterday's issue of the Republican, is, we learn from D.
M. McCarger, his brother-in-law, threatened with lockjaw. The boy lives at
Edinburg, and his sister, Mrs. McCarger, went up to see him.
