BROWN COUNTY GIVES LAND TO STATE FORESTRY BOARD
A 15-acre tract of land has been given to the state board of forestry by the
county commissioners of Brown County. The land is near Nashville and will
be used for experimental and demonstration purposes. Virtually everything
that has been planted at the state reservation will be tested on Brown
County soil. Farmers will watch with interest the success of the
experiments. William C. Goble, a member of the state board of forestry,
will be overseer of the land.
