Last Friday afternoon the dwelling house owned and occupied by Ham. Heskitt
near Spearsville, Brown County, was struck by lightning. The bolt ran down
through the roof, down the inside wall, shattering the plastering and onto
the railing of an iron bedstead. Mrs. Heskitt, was who lying on the bed,
was unharmed.
