Urshel Edison Killion-Private. Son of Joseph A. and Elizabeth Killion; born
July 15, 1893, Scott County, Ind. Moved to Washington County following
year. Farmer. Entered service June 26, 1918, at Brownstown, Ind. Trained
at Camp Sherman, Ohio; assigned to Headquarters Company, 1st Provisional
Training Regiment, 2nd Depot Division. Embarked September 1, 1918. Died of
pneumonia December 12, 1918, LeMans, France. Buried in Crown Hill Cemetery,
Salem, Ind. Survived by widow, Cora E. Killion, and two children, Waneta
Olive and Nola Naomi Killion, Salem, Ind.
