LON SWIFT'S WIFE IS SURE SOME SCRAPPER
At Least Long Thinks So, So His Suit for Divorce Charges
Alonzo Swift has reached the conclusion that he doesn't want to live with a
woman of pugalistic temperament. It seems his wife has landed a few Dempsey
punches on him, thereby bringing him to the decision just stated.
Lon has filed suit in circuit court praying for a legal separation from his
wife, Ora B. Swift. In his complaint, he alleges that the wife of his bosom
struck him with her fist; that she played on his dome with a fly swatter,
even out of fly time, and that wasn't all. He said she struck him with a
basket of tomatoes. She slapped him with her open hand, he charges, and
that she called him vile and obscene names and called him a _____, you say
it, it wouldn't look good in print, and a bastard.
They have a farm home in Jackson Township.
