CHARGED WITH STEALING LAP ROBE
Charles Prosser, aged 18 years, a citizen of Helmsburg, was arrested
yesterday by Constable William Mobley on a warrant charging him with
stealing a lap robe from Elmer King of Nashville. The accused young man in
under bond of $200 for his appearance in a preliminary examination to be
held in Squire Duard Dalvin's court, Saturday, October 29.
It is averred that Prosser sold the robe to Don Snider of Helmsburg who, in
turn, sold it to Orville Pittman of Nashville, and that Mr. King found the
robe in possession of Pittman and then and there recovered it.
