THEY BOTH WINKED
The case of wife desertion brought by the wife of Elmer E. Wink against her
husband was tried before Justice Morgan, and the defendant acquitted. In
this case, Bob Rose was the funny witness. Bob was wound up and loaded to
the muzzle. He answered questions faster than the attorneys could ask them,
and when they objected, he answered anyhow. And if they did not ask them
fast enough, Bob propounded a few himself for the attorneys to answer.
